Patty Thorne felt something step on her leg, and then it was gone. She looked around. Everyone was unconscious. She pushed and rolled Richard over so he wouldn't choke.

"Computer, what happened?"

–Bad timing.

"We crashed?"

–Bad timing.

"We're on the planet's surface, aren't we?" Patty said, trying to stand up. "What's that, a door?"

Now she kind of wished she had clothes on.

Something rattled ... or knocked!

–Go slow, the computer said.

Whatever it was knocked again!

"Bad timing!" Patty cried out, a little disoriented.
