6.  I'm really focused on two things right now: A trip to Tahiti & a new Camaro. I don't know why I shouldn't be able to take care of these two items before too long. Tahiti, after all, is a wonderful place. And an ashen grey zl1 Camaro ... Well, what can I say? The trouble is, people try to get in your way. It's surprising the things you hear, and I'm taking care of them fast as I can. So when my roommate said, "I knew you were going to say that! It's like hitting a stone wall!" the other day, I replaced it with —Socially challenged as soon as I could. And when he met me face-to-face at our back door half an hour ago and said, "I've discovered a third way to come in – One, two, three! – Okay, Dave, whatever rocks your boat," [talking to himself since I didn't actually say anything back; I was trying to understand the three different directions he may have been referring to. Finally it hit me. He was pointing through the back door of our apartment towards the front door!] —After all! I said to myself, replacing both his directly-through-me monologue and the entire precarious scene. I'm simply trying not to get sucked in.
