23.  Okay, I switched back to reading the murder mystery. I can only stand being good for so long. At five minutes after six, I went outside and looked down the street, feeling ridiculous. Only a child goes outside looking for a delivery truck. Earlier I'd tried it, and a crow flew over, swooped low cawing at me, and landed on the telephone wire by the school yard directly across the street, so I went back inside and got some stale Raisin Bran after telling it not to go away. It watched me carefully as I returned and emptied the contents of the cereal box directly below its perch – the special Crow's Spot. This time, at six after six, I looked to the right, looked to the left, then saw it! The brown United Parcel Service truck made its way carefully along 7th Street and stopped a block away. I could see the driver get out, make his way to the sidewalk, then return to the truck. Again, the truck made its way along, pausing at the Stop sign at the corner of Page ... completely stopping. Then without turning either way, which might have made me crazy, making its way slowly towards I couldn't help waving!
